A chair, a stool, a flexible scope on a bench-top processor and a small instrument set. Each piece can be bought on its own. Together they run nasendoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy and minor procedures in the rooms or an outpatient clinic.

The room

Chair and stool

Both delivered and set up by the Velara team. Navy blue as standard.

Procedure chair Fully electric, with hand switch and foot control.

Height, back, leg and seat tilt from the hand switch or foot control, including Trendelenburg. Safe working load 250 kg. Price includes delivery.

Clinical stools Round and saddle, with or without backrest, foot ring or armrest.

Gas-lift height adjustment, five-star base on castors, safe working load 160 kg. Price includes delivery.

The scope

Scope and processor

A hospital outpatient department usually runs single-use scopes; private rooms often run reusable. The HugeMed MS-8 runs either, or both, so the same setup suits an OPD list and a rooms list and can change mix later.

HugeMed RH-series single-use rhinolaryngoscopes Sterile from the pack, discarded after the patient. Six sizes, 2.2 mm to 5.8 mm.

120° field of view, 210° up/down deflection, 350 mm working length. The 2.2 mm and 3.1 mm sizes are the usual rooms choice.

HugeMed MS-8 video processor 15.6 inch touchscreen, bench or trolley.

15.6 inch 1080p touchscreen. DICOM transfer to PACS, wired and wireless networking, 64 GB storage. Runs the single-use RH-series, the reusable M-series, or both.

HugeMed M-series reusable rhinolaryngoscopes For rooms where volume supports reprocessing. Same processor.

110° field of view, 160° up / 130° down bending, 350 mm working length. Four sizes, 2.8 mm to 5.2 mm.

32 GB storage, HDMI output at 1920 x 1080, rechargeable battery up to 4 hours, 1.0 kg. For a room without a trolley, or a scope that moves between rooms.
